Mother Nature aside, the Ortholite insole and Groundtrax treads guarantee maximum stability, grip and comfort when riding and walking. A rear-mounted zipper entry, more closely fitting cuff and abrasion-resistant D-stone fabric keeps the Blackwing Boots practical for daily use and easy to fit under a pant leg. Reflective inserts, rigid malleolus protector and shin insert all work together to achieve a CE Category II safety rating.
